# Model

The model is the Agent's brain. The recent model race has made one thing clear: the perfect model does not exist yet. Among top-tier models, there is no absolute winner. Each model has strengths, weaknesses, and preferred tasks.

In The One, each role picks a saved model preset (a model with its connection, reasoning and service tier) or follows the default model, so every member of a working group can run on the model that suits its part. See [Models](../../the-one-app/capabilities/models).
