# Action Sequence

> Use action sequences to split complex goals into executable steps.

As an extension of [ReAct](./react), The One provides a built-in tool set called Action Sequence.

ReAct lets an Agent act toward a goal and gradually approach it. But for complex tasks, chasing the final goal directly often makes a model repeatedly hit the same dead end. The One's answer is to let an Agent break a large task into a path of smaller action goals. That path is the Action Sequence.
